Anna Banks Anna Banks

In her role as Group Director, Strategy, Anna Banks guides the strategy for Organic’s San Francisco office. Working alongside the other Organic strategy teams, Anna’s charter is to elevate Organic’s social media and digital customer relationship strategy offering as well as help evolve Organic’s strategic offering for the digital space.

Anna has over 18 years of experience designing and developing consumer experiences across the online and offline space. In past roles she leveraged her direct marketing roots to build out the measurement capabilities of McCann Worldgroup’s social media practice. Anna also led Microsoft’s international Emerging Media Trials; regularly traveling to Microsoft international subsidiaries, to demonstrate how to effectively integrate emerging media into local marketing plans. Anna joined McCann Worldgroup as a digital strategy director for MRM Worldwide, the relationship marketing arm of McCann Worldgroup.

Before joining McCann Worldgroup, Anna was vice president of strategy at data powerhouse Harte-Hanks, where she focused on new business and the development of integrated relationship marketing programs. Prior to Harte-Hanks, she worked with the WPP Group, the holding company for Ogilvy & Mather and Y&R.

Anna holds bachelor’s degree with honors from Harvard College and an MBA from Harvard University.

James Deaker James Deaker

James Deaker leads the Monetization Excellence practice for Microsoft Advertising. In this capacity he is responsible for developing industry insights to guide pricing, policies and other monetization decisions. He is also responsible for building and developing infrastructure for Microsoft’s global Monetization Community and prioritizing and executing other key initiatives to improve the performance of Microsoft’s advertising assets.

Prior to acquisition by Microsoft, James was Vice President of Advisory Services at Rapt, the leader in Yield Management for Digital Display Ad products. At Rapt he led software deployments and advisory services engagements at a number of Rapt clients, including iVillage, TACODA, MTV Networks, Cox Newspapers, Facebook, and About.com.

Before Rapt, James was a consultant at the Boston Consulting Group (BCG), where he worked on a range of strategy and operational advisory projects. He has Ph.D. and M.S. degrees in Engineering-Economic Systems and Operations Research from Stanford University.

James teaches Best Practices in Yield and Revenue Management.

Nichole is a serial entrepreneur, having helped build many emerging technology startup companies ranging from educational technology, point of sale, multi-media tools, Internet technology and viral social media platforms. Since its inception four years ago, Nichole has successfully taken Brickfish from an emerging social media company to an award winning Social Media Solution™.

As a member of the IAB’s Social Media Committee, Nichole is the Chair for the Social Media Buying Guide. Anne Hunter Anne Hunter

Anne Hunter is the vice president of comScore’s Advertising Effectiveness Products, where she is responsible for product development and marketing management.

Ms. Hunter has fourteen years of interactive advertising experience and is a frequent speaker on media measurement and targeting. Her unique combination of experience in sales, marketing, research and operations gives her a rare perspective on universal issues facing the online advertising industry.

Prior to joining comScore, Ms. Hunter served as vice president of strategic insights at AOL, LLC where she successfully integrated sales strategy and research staff from multiple companies to form a cohesive Platform-A team. Prior to that, Ms. Hunter served as vice president of data and analysis at Tacoda, Inc. where she doubled renewals by creating profitable sales analyses for clients such as Kraft, Cadbury, Coca-Cola and General Mills. Ms. Hunter has also held positions at 24/7 Real Media Inc. as director of advertising sales and operations, and Hearst New Media and Technology, Inc. as associate manager of advertising.

Jeff Lundwall is a founding and managing partner of Mercury Group LLC a retained consultancy specializing in media and media/technology companies. The areas of practice are Executive Search, Training and Career Transition. Jeff has worked in the media and media/technology industries since the mid 1990s. Jeff helped launch The Industry Standard, the first business magazine for the internet and later founded three content sites, where he managed sales and business development. Jeff was also involved in early web video and widget development. Before launching Mercury Group, Lundwall was Associate Publisher at Condé Nast Digital, where he helped grow staff and revenue 5x over four years.

Jeff is also co-author of Media 20/20: The Next Decade, a book exploring the media industry to uncover the trends and ideas that will change the way we create and consume media over the next decade. With specific commentary from dozens of influencers and decisions makers across entertainment, technology, commerce, advertising, marketing, and media outlets Media 20/20 provides rare insight into the media industry. As an analyst for one of the leading digital marketing analytics groups, Morris is responsible for advanced analytics research for many of the industry’s leading advertisers and agencies. Morris has served as a strategy liaison for market leaders and has conducted research in creative and media optimization including cross channel synergy and conversion attribution analysis. He has also served on various IAB-sponsored committees to ensure industry-wide data integrity and assist in cookie education initiatives.

Prior to joining the Mercury Group, Tonia transitioned her own career by re-locating from Canada and partnering with rogenSi, a global business performance consultancy, where she gained extensive training and experience in the field working with senior level executives and managers. Previously, Tonia worked in media developing new business partnerships with McDonald’s, Burger King, Mercedes-Benz, Rolex, and BMW, earning her national recognition from CHUM, Canada’s leading multimedia broadcast company.
